Would you want to get recognized IRL?

Would you want to be recognized in real life from your YouTube channel?

Personally, I wouldn't. I definitely love having an audience on YouTube and would love for more people to watch my videos, but it makes me uncomfortable if my close friends mention my videos in real life.

I think if it was at a YouTube meetup or convention where I was expecting to meet people, that would be ok, but randoms on the street would freak me out!!

Depends on the situation in which a random would approach. I can be incredibly grouchy at the wrong times!

hahahah at a friend of mine happened xD

We made a funny video 2gether, uploaded and around the street a person recognized her and said something like: "But You are the one of the beer video!" hauhauhauhauh xD

She felt like a star xD

I don't think it would bother me if it was in a positive light.

I was recognized by a coworker because I made a couple of videos about some football games that were played earlier in January. Surprisingly, the first video got over 7k views and the second around 1k(I only have 133 subs). This put me near the top of this person's search list when he searched for details on the games. I got very nervous about it but after a few days I was fine.

I'm not really sure I would, at least for right now.. and my videos explain that quite well since I wear a mask and haven't told any of my closest friends that I've opened a Youtube Channel..

Perhaps in the future, and if I really succed on Youtube I wouldn't mind showing my face, letting people know who I am and be recognized when I walk in the street. But only if that meant that I could make a difference and help some other people out!

I was spotted by someone locally, I guess it was a friends cousin who had found my videos or something. Saw me at the store, and was like "Oh, dude! You're LyfeWithDragons! Keep up the good work!" I told him thanks, and then we parted ways. Wasn't too bad, and it made the rest of my evening.
