Would I Qualify for any network as Director or Partner?

Hello all!

Well basically as stated in the title, im looking to either get a directorship or partnership with a network.

You may be asking, Why?

Well its simple. I at 14, want to persue a career, which so happens to be in Video Production and Management. Mainly my career will consist of Editing, producing, recording, etc, so i feel that making youtube videos will be a good way to get practice.

Now What does partnership / Director status have to do with this.

Why I want the status is so my videos can be judged and i can get some assistance from some other people to get me where i need to be in-order to succeed in my career choice (video production).

I am a gaming channel, and if anything, i might re-start my youtube channel. Opinions?

There are requirements that I recommend for joining a partner network in order to make sure you earn the most you can. Apply for a partnership once you get around 1000 video views a day and around 15 subscribers a day. Once you are at this point you can apply and hope for a 70/30 split. I wouldn’t recommend going for anything below that! You need at least 70% to make similar to what you would on AdSense as AdSense takes 32% split leaving you with 68%. Also, most partners offer higher revenue ads to offset your split.​
 
mmkay, but with the stats i currently have, what/who would you suggest i go for? I might have gotten accepted for awesomenesstv, are they good?

NO. Do not go with them. Go look at their Facebook page. Every other person is complaining trying to leave their network without a support team what so ever. I predict a member by the name of Shane.Vultra to take it from here in the next few hours...

DO NOT GO WITH THEM. THey are scammers. At your current position you should just monetize your videos, and sign up for an adsense account.

1000 video views/15 subscribers a day? I gotta disagree with that. He could apply with what he has now and possibly make it. More then likely not but I have seen channels with stats like his make it all the time.

I would at least wait until you are getting 100-200 video views a day before applying to various networks. The awesomenesstv just gives you branding tools...you don't actually get paid is what I have heard about them.
 
So if i were to go with awesomeness, when can i leave? How can i leave? And whom else will i get the full partner perks, with my stats :/

I'm not sure...it would all be in your contract they offer you. I know I signed a 2 year contract at Fullscreen. Once again I'm pretty sure you don't get support or paid at that network. You just get that banner on your channel page. Hell, apparently you can get that banner without partnering now according to a friend I know. Here is his original message about it from his Facebook page:

No it was not by Fullscreen or any network and no it wasn't by Youtube... it was actually done by adwords because they gave me a brand channel.

The requirements for a brand channel is that you have a youtube account and that you have advertised with adwords before...
I was curious to see what features were available right off the bat so here's a list incase anyone is interested:
Shows: No
Live Streaming: No
Claiming: No
Custom Thumbnails: No, They're Earned
Banners: Yes
Custom Tab: No

You still have to enable monetization and link an adsense account and it's the good ol' monetization review s**t lol.

Nothing fancy comes from a brand channel except if you want extra branding features early. Just thought i'd share that with you guys incase you ever decide to start a new channel not linked with a network but want branding features!

If you go with Awesomenesss, then you will probably never be able to leave until Google finally revokes their partnering capabilities, because they scam people. They are complete frauds. It is somewhat pointless to get partnered so soon. You will not make any money until you are at least getting 100+ views a day. The extra branding features really arn't all that great either. Wait until you can go to a good credible network. Almost every network locks you in for 1-3 years in contract, so you want to make a smart longterm choice. Wait for Fullscreen, Maker, or any of the other networks that will actually be beneficial to you. Awesomeness will ruin your channel.
 
yeah, i applied and got to a contract screen that showed two years. Is it too late? If not, should i not accept or should i accept?
