won youtube copyright dispute

pretty proud of myself right now. I mean not because I get a ton of views (I don't) and that video wasn't really a super duper eye catcher. but when EA slammed YT with copyright claims across the board, and all my BF3 videos (even some commentaries!) got slammed, I said enough, and clicked the dispute button. IT'S THE PRINCIPAL OF THE THING DAMN IT! they are squashing the little guy, meanwhile machinima, fpsrussia, and iJustine, pewdiepie (btw what does he offer other then making faces duting games?!) get bigger and bigger! I mean Robbaz is funny - I watch him. LVLcap even. sometime I catch a Woody episode. but I digress...
here's the video
3 weeks or so later I got this email.

Dear Crawlerz2468,
EA has reviewed your dispute and released its copyright claim on your video, "BF3: Operation Metro Easter Eggs Hunt Tutorial". For more information, please visit your Copyright Notice page

Why did EA even filled in an Copyright Claim in the first place? What was the Claim you received mentioning?
 
it didn't mention anything. on youtube it said "may contain content from EA". I've heard this from someone that as I said above, EA taking note from MS (in my opinion) slammed all videos even remotely containing their games, with it of course getting a boatload of false positives. IMO they went too far. I got p****d and clicked DISPUTE CLAIM. I knew I was right because it IS a commentary and therefore qualifies for monetization. LVLcap and others do it every day. even I have monetized commentaries!
 
Oh so it wasn`t an Copyright Claim which did result in an Copyright Strike, they just had disabled you the option to monetize it?
 
from the moment i started reading this i knew it was going to be in your favor because of the fact that it had a commentary and it counts as fair use.

I've read somewhere that they deny all counter claims without even looking at them, partially because they get so many. so I tried it on an inconsequential video.

i dont think thats true because i have counter claim many of my videos from this channel and previous ones and all of them had been fixed with no problem. there used to be a special quote you used to put in the counter claim that will allow you to win the case 98% of time, but i cant remember what it was. also i dont if it work anymore because i havent had to counter claim a video in 11 months.

I had the same message for my Godfather 2 videos and this was the response I gave. They released the claim. Funny they never challenged Spore or the Godfather 1 LP's I did?
