Will joining a network really increase my RPM?

Hey guys, it was recently agreed upon from a previous thread of mine that my RPM of $0.59 is pretty damn low (~250,000 monetized views over 2.5 months). I am currently not affiliated with a network. Will joining a network (RPM, Fullscreen, ect.) really increase my RPM? Someone from the previous thread was confident that my low RPM was due to my content and that being partnered will not make a different to my RPM. Any input on this?
 
As @Shane said in the last thread, your CPM and RPM is determined by your content (amongst other things). I'm sure that advertisers really don't want to run ads on a video about how soccer players have sex.
 
It can do, but for your content it's very, very unlikely.

Not many MCNs sell onto channels that arn't on their top 50-100 anyways and those they may do a bit are unlikely to try to sell or if they do; find any buyers for advertising on your sort of content.
