Why does one of my two channels make no money?

Hi,
I have a situation I totally don't get. I have two Youtube channels that are both monetized and verified. My first channel is constantly making money although most videos have waaaay less views. For example one video of that channel had 36 views within the last 30 days and made 5 cents(estimated) based on those views.
My second channel has more than 2000 views per video per month. To argue that no one clicks on the ads would be one possibility but I can't believe that a video with more than 70000 views hasn't even made one single cent and none of the videos of that channel have made a cent while on the other channel with a fraction of the views the videos have already made quite some money.

Does anyone know what might be a reason?

It could just be the type of monetisation you have on the videos (Like if you have different ad types). Also (And correct me if I'm wrong) but if you have third party content in your video they can charge you for using it. Hope this helps :3

I don't get what you mean with a third party content. Do you mean content that doesn't belong to me? I do animated shorts and the complete content is done by me with my characters. In other words, the content is 100% mine. They don't even contain music. It might be the type of ads. The channel that is making money has cartoons for teens/adults while the other channel has cartoons for people of all ages. Is there a way to change it. If I keep on making zero money, why put in all the effort?

Are the views legit? Becuase when they're botted they don't make you money.

If you're asking if I faked the views, then absolutely not. You can actually see geographically that one of my videos was viewed in 158 different countries and 'liked' in about 50 different countries(I just checked, lol).
ALL my views are totally legit.

I don't say you faked the views, maybe someone else did it to get to your channel for some reason. I think it's strange you get 2000 views per video per day. I get 2000 views per day on all videos combined and make some money out of it.

If you could give us your channel name we can have a look.

.

I wrote each vid gets about 2000 views per month.;) My views are pretty steady around 2000 views(sometimes more, sometimes less) per video each month and I'm pretty sure that no one else got into my account. Like I said, I can see how and from where I get my views. I get this amount of views because many people share my vids, usually on Facebook.

You write that you make some money with the views from your vids which are far less. That's what strikes odd to me. I have many views on that channel but have made exactly 0,00$ while my other channel DOES make money.

Well embed players only have overlay ads. That mean you only get money when they click on it as far as I know about overlay ads. So maybe that's the reason. 2000 views per video per month is still alot to earn some money when people watch it on youtube with ads.
