Why choose a youtube partnership?

Depends of what ads you enable, I for example never enable the ones that starts playing for a few seconds at the beginning of your videos. Or you can disable all ads and be partner for one year and you still have the advantages.

The problem with that is you lose their support. Being a part of a network is a two way thing, If they aren't making money off of you, why would they try to help you

Why join a network over youtube alone ? Because you have support behind you (i can talk with my partner manager Mon-Fri) , you get [sometimes , not in all networks] a dashboard to see all your earnings etc. & along with that a free (royalty free music , check your network)
You get branding [well everybody can have a banner now that the 1channel layout is forced] & modules (like Shows , Livestreaming etc.) instantly when you sign the contract / join. Also, if someone click bombs you & you're in a network , nothing will happen to you (it goes through the NETWORK not GOOGLE). Also, if you're a gamer or do cover songs (it's probably safe to say you don't have the licenses to those songs) & you monetize that video, it probably with come back with copyright. Machinima a licenses to games that allow their partners to upload gaming footage. Fullscreen has FAM (sub-network , only for musicians & artists) that lets their partners cover songs , worry free

Because my channel is small, around 1200 subscribers. I wanna make the viewer experience as pleasant as I can because they might subscribe and start comment and sharing my videos in the future. I see that a lot of people are losing their youtube partnership because of click bombers and that is why I will submit for an partnership.The other thinks,I am not intersted.

Everybody has his opinion, I think it's worth joining because the benefits from being a partner are very usefull, that if you can get a partenership. I received a mail of invitation just the next day after I applied.
