Why are networks easy to get into now?

What branding and what promotion? Unless your country isn't enrolled in the Partner Program, you can have branding and monetization.

You have a bunch of VERY different networks in there.

  • QuizGroup and AwesomenessTV are scammy and s****y
  • RPM is OK, but really just for smaller partners. Their support is notoriously overloaded (2-4+ week responses/delays on things like dashboard invites, getting partnered, etc)
  • SquareOne is a high end exclusive network which has requirements 10,000x higher than any of those other networks. Their support is top notch, their contracts flexible, and their CPM the best I've seen. For full disclosure, I am part of them, but I think that also qualifies me to speak accurately about them as well. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions what SquareOne is like.
 
Because networks used to advertise themselves as a way to make money AND promote your channel very seriously. These days it's just making money and you'll be lucky if you get promoted.
