Where to get free Stock Footage and Music

Incompetech, NCS, YT Royalty Free Library, etc. I don't monetize my videos, so I can pretty much use any song there is out there. The only thing is that I will get a copyright claim, which doesn't do anything besides make the producer of the music advertise your video.

A site I use all the time, that wasn't mention is openclipart.org
I use their losslessly scalable and rotatable vector clipart in almost every thumbnail of mine that shows a cartoon-y item.
I know the OP asked for audio and video content, but in my opinion having easily recognizable and freely usable schematic graphical elements for thumbnails is important as well.

I've recently discovered archive.org is a great place for very specific audio / music needs for my videos!

Many files are royalty free, some just ask for attribution in your description.

You can also get stock photos from google.com
  1. search
  2. images
  3. settings
  4. advanced search
  5. scroll down to usage rights
From there you can select the option depending on your needs. There's several to choose from but free to use, modify, even commercially is probably the safest option as it covers everything.

Youtube is also a place where you can use other videos that are marked Creative Commons
  1. search
  2. filter
  3. features
  4. creative commons
This is how people make those wonder compilation videos. You can also mark your own videos available for creative commons which 'might' help a little more with traffic to your channel 'if' the user is kind enough to credit you.

Hoping this helps :)
