What's your excuse?

Top reasons, from least to most used:
  • Shortage of time
  • Neighbors making too much noise
  • General insecurity / Having an "off" day
The last one sadly happens more often than I'd like! I mostly concern myself with how I sound, and how my accent sounds to native speakers seeing as English is not my native language... Then I obsess over one or the other and end up switching from English to American, then back to English because one feels fake and the other feels way overdone to my ears... If I can get over this my productivity should be way higher :)
How do you sound "American" xD Sorry, its just weird being American and someone says we sound a certain way.

I meant no offense :)

There's no way to explain it that I know of, it's just the difference between recognizing what general area someone comes from. An Australian accent differs from that of an Englishman, which in turn differs from an American accent... Being "non of the above" leaves me with the choice between either, but I cannot decide which I am more comfortable with...

Our top reasons (we never use these, so feel free to borrow them for your channel)

The food is still asleep. Wake it up and make it angry. No one will watch if it's not moving.
I'm not hungry. I just ate 10lbs of pizza for a challenge 2 hours ago.
We have 650 videos in reserve that we haven't used yet. Let's use one of those instead of shooting a new one.
I heard some rumor that at a certain sub level the channel is supposed to sustain and grow itself. It's total BS, but can't we just pretend that's true for one afternoon?

I've had huge problems with my PC recently which omly just got fixed after my dad lent me £300 for new parts and I've had loads of college work as its near the end of the college year.. can't wait to be able to record loke 4 episodes of a lets play in one sitting again :D

My room was being painted blue the entire day and guys were making lots of noise in other rooms as well so I didn't want those loud noises to be in the video :p

Time. I still have a full time job, and somehow have to fit in socialising, housework, and other stuff I might need to do. If I want to keep putting out good quality videos with humorous content, I need to take time out every now and again to avoid burnout.
