What video editing software do you use for making and editing your videos?

I now use windows live movie maker, as it suits my needs a video editor, for editing and making videos.

However before I used PowerDirector and AVS video editor.

What other free video editing programs, would you recommend for me to try out?

I currently use iMovie. Nothing fancy, but it does everything I need it to.

The free editing programs are very limited unless you torrent, which then everything is free. Otherwise for anything other than imovie and windows live movie maker there isnt a whole lot else.

I use, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X (don't give me crap about it! it's not my main editor) ScreenFlow and some times iMovie

Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro 7, ScreenFlow 3 are the main editors, but I use other programs as well.
