What makes some youtubers engaging— and others not?

I really don't care if they are engaging because I go for the quality of the content, not the personality of the person. Sure, if they are just horribly boring, I probably won't go back, but I have no interest in watching someone bounce around the screen, I care what they're saying, not who they are.
 
I pass on humorous and personalities.
Rather closed character i don't appreciate entertainers.
I like people motivating others.
Not the "i am here to help you" kind of pros or wannabees.
Those who just have a personal positive message.
There might be a speech narration or vlog.
A song with beautiful lyrics or tune.
A video with images to please the eye and calm the mind.

The good think is that no matter who the youtuber / creator is.
The bad think is that get used to YT i narrow my search in it...
