What is the best time of the day to upload videos?

Hello!

As the title suggests, I'm wondering what is the best time of day to upload videos. Does posting your videos at prime times, like evening time when people have come home for work, school, etc..., make a difference in views, or does it not really matter?

Also, do you take into account where your subscribers are from? For example, the majority of mine are from USA. Does that mean I'm better off uploading at their evening time, or should I just stick to mine?

Let me know how you go about this, and if you have any tips on this matter.

I think between 5pm and 12am GMT are the best times, at those times a lot of the people in the USA are awake, by 12am in the UK theyre likely getting home from work and chilling out at least thats my thoughts on it, I have noticed that around those times YTtalk is more active so uploading around those times I would expect to be the best. Personally I tend to release them whenever during the day, I am not that fussy but I do think its good releasing them strategically.
 
Since your from the UK I'd say around 8-10pm
But that's just when most people would probably be online

I usually just upload whenever :D
 
I agree with Michael, although most of my uploads are 6pm UK Time. Thats purely because its the only time I can.

I know I could schedule for it to be public at 12am (which is the best time), but this doesn't seem as good as releasing it as soon as it uploads... Something to do with the algorithm maybe? Or maybe I'm wrong :D
 
Well Since YOUTUBE is world wide.. there is always someone on... We release our videos every Sunday at 6 am.. EST America. You should experiment and see.. that is the great thing about the scheduler on YouTube you can upload and se the time to whenever you want.
 
I think it doesn't matter if you don't have many subscribers, if you have grown your subs base I would recommend you to upload at 6:00pm is the best time for me.

Hello.

I've done a little research into this after creating this thread. Most online studies found that the internet prime time is between 8 p.m. and midnight. This is when the most people are on online. I think I'm going to use this, as well as what you guys have said, to start posting my videos between 8 p.m. and midnight. This should also be the best time to share your videos on social medias, and forums, as this is when users are more likely to be signed into their accounts.
