What if you buy the Music?

I have been trying to read around and figure out if its ok to buy an EP on iTunes and then use it in the videos... but Im still not sure if we can do that or not. The threads have so many people saying different things!

Nope you can't!
When you "buy" a song, you're not actually buying that song.
You're buying the rights to listen to that song and the rights to download and store it on a device for personal use!

Only if you buy rights to distribute song in commercial use.. Thats would cost milions depending on the publisher of the song..

The answer is definitely no. When you buy a song, you are not buying the copyright.

Yeah unfortunately everyone else is right - you'd need to buy the rights to the song to use it in a video, simply owning the song isn't enough! but there are a lot of royalty free alternatives to mainstream music that doesn't cost nearly as much to use - its not too hard to find on google

Like @Fezstar said when you buy a song, that song is for personal use not commercial. You brought the song to listen to but you dont have the rights to use it to use in your work or content created.

You could ask for permison of the song creator maybe someone will give you permission for free but this will not work with big Artists like Eminem, Rihana etc...

You're not buying the use of that song. You're just buying the right to listen to it. Just like Fezstar says!

To buy the licence to use the music legally would end up costing you much more than you will ever make from the video.
