What If I stopped uploading?

good thinking i start army basic hopefully in september and im not allowed home for 6 weeks hmmm and im signed with rpm

It is very unlikely that they would take any sort of legal action against you and most contracts will not tell you that you have to upload a certain amount of times a week/month.

Every contract SHOULD state a Minimum, I'm with Creator X/Fullscreen which this is the verbage:
"A good faith attempt to upload 2 or more videos per month."

Which, if you didn't meet the requirement, then they can potentially fine you, kick you out of there network, etc.
People always expect them to pay on time but think that the network shouldn't expect anything from the Creator as in
"They should pay me, but I don't want to upload regularly, and if they are late on the payment then I am gonna go on a crazed streak of bad mouthing the network."

I always see things like that posted in numerous places on the internet...
People need to understand what having a CONTRACT means.

I don't think they will do anything if you don't upload for 1 or 2 months. Personally, I don't think they would even notice if you stopped uploading videos. I think I've seen ppl partnered with a network that haven't uploaded anything in a long time. Unless you are a bigger channel that they have been actively promoting, they probably won't even notice.

I cant see them doing anything seriously bad, like losing your house bad. Maybe just a stiff warning with a legal email to scare you, or just cancelling your contract.

Comon, people, thats really funny to hear talking about fines or legal actions for not uploading a video on your channel in time lol
(doing such a rough actions would definitely scare away some part of people who plan to join network)

Does this sentence sounds like if you would not upload those 2 videos per month you would be fined?
"A good faith attempt to upload 2 or more videos per month."

Network just expect you to be active channel, but i do not believe anything like that can happen, maybe they would stop putting their own efforts to promote your channel at the worst case if they see you are not interest to do your part, so it should be your own interest to keep a positive relations, but if you ill or getting holidays for a month i do not think its a huge problem if its inactive for a month. In the worst case you can always have a couple small videos as a backup and schedule them for that month in that case if you planning to be gone for a summertime holidays and want to forget about anything :)

I'm with Machinima and I'm inactive... didn't upload videos to my channel or to their channel for years. I just kept losing subs, now when I upload a video to my channel I get lucky if I get 100 views. Lost 600 subs when I stopped and I keep losing atleast 5 a day.

It's meh....

Oh, so basically ok, I got your point guys. Gonna go ahead and partner when I can. ;) I'll probably still be able to fulfil their every needs for uploading. :)

yeah best not to leave it, i mean if you wanted to go on holiday/ a trip then just use scheduled uploads, and nobody will ever no!
but dont just stop, cos your subs will leave 2 i get over my subs, if they dont upload anything within 2 weeks
