What does it take to gain a partnership?

They recently lowered their requirement to somewhere between zero views per day and 33 views per day, from what I've heard.

However, I would HIGHLY recommend not joining a network right away. There are many reasons people join networks, but the biggest reasons ($$$, perks such as channel features, promotion, allowed to monetize gameplay, and more) actually are very insignificant/non-existant for several reasons. What are you looking to get out of a partnership?

This, you do not need a partnership yet and it would not benefit you.[DOUBLEPOST=1367750278,1367750197][/DOUBLEPOST]
34 vpd ;) They had to raise it above 0 because their servers couldn`t handle the amount of applications.

Lol really?

RPM/Socialblade is alright - they offer free music, a dashboard, promotion and all the other basic perks (banners & custom thumbnails)

However if you want to go with RPM/Socialblade make sure the contract is 60/40 1 year, DO NOT GO FOR 50/50 2 YEARS!!!

Also the other, AwesomenessTV is a hell no! They offer absolutely no support and trap you in a contract for 2 years.

I'm not sure if you're joking or not, but if you are serious that is the most illogical and incorrect thing I've ever heard you say, Shane.

I was serious?..
All right, I'll explain.

Server costs and processing power required for say serving web pages are very, very minor. Thousands of pages can be served for less than a cent. Now collecting forms and other submissions is equally negligible. If they suddenly got 100,000 extra applicants due to lowering their requirements, the servers would be just fine.

I don't know for sure, but I would expect they put the minimum at 33 after it being at 0 because of labor/legal issues with accepting so many small channels.

Or, they don't want to accept so many small channels because they don't want to turn into ATV.

That info didn`t come from me :p

N4Gtv left "dananuh" from these forums waiting for 3 weeks for a contract because "Maker lost a lot of partner apps when the servers got overloaded when RPM lowered their requirements" ;)

Do they still offer 50/50 2 years?

This is actually true. The head recruiting officer at N4GTV got in touch with me as my application was taking awhile as the Maker servers crashed due to an overload of people signing up for RPM. This was not only due to RPM's requirements being low but the fact that for Maker's other sub-networks all successful applicants and sent to team's working at RPM. ;) Its a bit of both tbh.
