What are some good ways to promote a gaming channel?

I've Got It
Hey everyone, i've been working really hard with my gaming channel but somehow i feel like my hard work is coming up short because I don't really know where or how to promote my channel, i go on a few forums here and there and try and get mates to share my videos, but surely there are some other good, non spamming ways to promote a channel.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated thanks! :D

Collab with good gamers, there are many on this forum and also go online to social forums but mainly collabing really helps to hit the ground running

Yeah i really want to get into more collab's because apparently i'm much more entertaining when i have someone to yell at for killing me or not helping me -.- haha, it's hard finding people to collab with sometimes though =/

Even though i dont record gaming i dont mind recording with you or if u want ill suggest a few people or better yet just post in the collaboration forum

they are for youtube video makers specialising in gaming, they've helped alot with my confidence to keep doing what i love doing and they are helpful in helping me grow, i'm just trying to take advantage of any other options that are out there haha :)
