What are some good editing software?

I really want to know the best editing software so i can add really amazing effects to my videos. What is the best one???

Well, the more you spend on it, the more likely it is to be good. I've herad good things about sony vegas. That's all you can really go on though.

Well, for effects there would be After Effects. I've used it for some simple effects such as expolsions. It's great if you can get your head around it haha

If you're using a PC, then I recommend using Cyberlink PowerDirector 10. If you use a Mac, then the best for that would be Final Cut Pro X

If you want to do hardcore VFX like i do in my videos After Effects for sure.. Its kinda expensive, but if your a student you can get a discount or there is a free trial you can do too.
