Well, if you didn't need those this time, then you might not need the dubbing next time after all.

Nah, I was able to do it in a long take *because* I had pre-recorded the dialogue. I can definitely do a few lines of interchange out without dubbing. In the future, I'm likely just going to punch in every so often, to avoid having to worry about dubbing. But as I get better at it, who knows?

Actually, no. The tech side was a huge timesink, but the whole purpose was to enable me to do more dialog-focused stuff.
