Was asked to become a partner, but this didn't sell me.

I've Got It
This request struck me funny, I'm unsure what these incentives mean..

1.You get a PREMIUM- account.
What's the difference between premium and what I got now eh?

2.Additional options for adjusting your channel - gives you the option to design it exactly like you want.

3.Online broadcasting.

4.Your income is increased by getting more relevant and more expensive
advertising on our network that we directly get from YouTube advertisers .
Say I make $1,500 a month (hypothetically speaking) why do I want to share my earnings? so I get 4k views a day, so does this mean it's a ticket to mooch off my earnings? with their CPM's how can I possibly increase what I get now, feels weird.

5.A chance to be reached out by direct sponsors (advertisers).
I have the chance now.. don't I?

6.Participating in online briefing about development and promotion of your channel. Our team is made up of professional managers that graduated the "YouTube authors academy" in London. Tis management team devoted to helping our channels optimize and promote themselves for being more popular in YouTube.

7.Receiving money by the most convenient way for you (Webmoney,Paypal and more).
AdSense already takes care of it.

8.Support from us: All the information is shown in the YouTube Analytic which can be used for tracking your channel population.
I have very little need for support and I have full analytics from both adsense products and YT analytics, there aren't any special tools; I am thinking once I sign up what I look at is going to be 1/2 of what I had.

9.Online technical support given by our best managers for any question.
10.You are easily connected to all our partners for exchanging knowledge and experience, in our members forum a lot of advices can be found in addition to what you get from our managers.
I have YTTalk, YouTube Creator's Blog and Google. :)

11.Getting payments from 5$ by using our payment system, a much easier and more collaborating way.
If you offer this low of a threshold my net is probably going to be 10x lower.

12.All your channel content is being well protected.
Yes, it is well protected. :)

Would these terms sell you? When you joined your network, was it because of some promises or what you already kind of have, did anyone actually gain as far as net revenue and brand or is it just all a gimmick to be in the "YT network club" to try and gain views?

I honestly have no idea what the point of networks are, other than "negotiate" ad space, I declined 6 offers and this one just made me a little angry by making me feel like I really don't know any better.

I'd like to hear of some network success stories; on these forums since I joined and read much horror stories which turns me off even more to these things.

just wait or apply to a network that you like.

That's the thing; I have heard negative things about every single network. Especially from the audience on these forums; I can't grasp the idea of getting in bed with a partner that's going to wam bam thank you ma'am me. I'm still trying to figure out the concept of the benefit, other than ad sales (which from what I am reading these guys really suck at getting high paying ads, 3 bucks per 1k and 40/60 split, are you nuts?!) I'm just astound.

That is a really bad split 0.0 Well I mean every network is going to have its ups and downs. You can always get a direct partnership with YouTube, but that is a lot harder to get than with a network. I am not saying that it should be easier to just a get network and partner yourself. Many do offer better contracts and give you plenty of good benefits. If you have a good enough channel you may even be able to negotiate your contract. The thing is that people only see networks as a cause to do YouTube for money. When they offer you more than just money (Copyright stuff, features, etc.). Like I said before it really comes down to these things . Do you think your ready for a partnership and how is it going to benefit you.

Now that's something interesting. :) I am still un- partnered, and doing not bad (maybe because I don't know any better) but single handed-ly I brought a video to 400k views, would I have benefited more from a network? somehow I doubt this, I am happy with my result now; I want to know how to make things better but not at the expanse of losing what I already got.

Right, HOW is the question LOL. I just read previous threads on this forum and all the complaints kill me. I want to move further with my channel, I just don't know if this partner crap is going to do it. These partners some out the woodwork, I feel like I can make my own network; All I have to do is call Google AdSense and push ads with their sales reps.. hey this gives me an idea.. heh :D

Lol :p. Yeah some of the things said on here are pretty funny. Hey if you just want your channel to grow and don't feel like a partner is going to do it for you then go ahead :). You probably could :p. I have seen networks that were started up by 14-15 year olds. Most of those networks are probably not the best answer. There are a few that actually do quite well I must say.

What would you recommend? with over 2,800 subs and > 1 million total video views what network could possibly be best to help evolve the growth and health of a channel?

Growth and health = more views, more subs, more exposure, better net gain than not being a partner.

And without drama or monthly surprises, by surprises I mean 90% of the bad feedback commented by other partners here.
