Vlogging Collab? - How does it work?

Hey guys,

So I would 100% be up for doing a collaboration with another vlogger, but how would it work if we don't live in the same country. Do we simply send each other footage or is there a different thing people can think of?

I plan on making a video with one of my friends from across the country and our idea is;
1. plan the video together, whos filming what parts.
2. film our own parts
3. them send me the files over through a shared google doc folder
4. i download the video footage and edit our clips together.

This might not be the best method, but it seems simple and like it'd work!

This actually use to be a common thing in the early days of Youtube. It helps when both people have a green screen as some of these collabs got really creative back in the day. With a green screen, you could actually be side by side for the sake of the story.
