Uploading video to youtube

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help, my 9 year old wants to upload minecraft videos to youtube, he has done a short video which is on my laptop & plays perfectly but when he uploads it to his youtube channel it plays but has no sound, is there a way to fix this? Many thanks for any help.
