Tips on how to choose a channel name

I've Got It
Your name is very important when you start a YouTube channel you have to options:
  • Put your name as your channel's name
  • Have your own branding name like mine (Scitech Outline)
The second choice is harder yet better so if you decided to go with the second choice then you have to ask yourself those two questions:
  1. Is it related to the channel's content
  2. Is it easy for viewers to remember and come back to subscribe
And you are good to go and produce your awesome videos! Also please till me if my channel's name is easy to memorize or not. Thanks! :)

  2. Easy to remember? "ZaffaroTV"?! Eh, prolly not.

Still, that goes for many Youtubers having nicknames of madeup words as channel. You can survive without something descriptive, though it looks more clearly branded.

Your name fits well tho!
 
I didn't put any thought into mine when I made my channel, I just used a common online nickname of mine.

In retrospect, I probably should've ;)
 
Nothing about Pewdiepie's name says gaming and he is the most subscribed YouTuber...however it is catchy!
