So before i start i want you all to know my channel is small however I've had many in the past.

EXPANDING
Try expanding your videos for example pet videos go well with reviews and vlogs.

GETTING MORE VIEWS
1. When you upload a video make sure you name it exactly how it was before you uploaded it.
for example: (HOW TO HOOVER A HOUSE.avi) you would only remove the .avi because that is a name of something like your youtube channel name it will pop up a lot more.

2. Capitalizing the whole title makes it more important. I started doing this recently but i don't do it in collabs. Make sure you capitalize the name of the video before uploading.

3. The comments have to be descriptive as much as possible and maybe put the title in the comments like: The reason for How to Hoover a House is because my brother doesnt know how to use one so i thought i would do a sketch about it.

4. If you are partnered with a network try to be evolved with it as much s possible. You can be envolved by their forums or doing collabs. As you will get a lot more views and post on twitter, g+, facebook and all the forums you can find.

5. Comment on videos to get thumbs up. they might visit your channel. I recently got +26 on g+ page over 1 night + day from 0 by only make about 2 comments. not bad eh?

Spelling correctly and using the correct words are also important, otherwise people won't be able to search for what's in your video.

I have tried that, I can't tell if it helped a lot but the videos did seem to appear higher. I forgot to check them before I put them on shows, so I'm not sure if it's not just my awesome SEO.

I do not use shows because the waiting time is unbelievable and to me a waste of time.
Spelling is important but i usually quadrupole check them in videos. when it comes to forums its less important.

This is cheating but to use hidden tags on other peoples videos use view source by right-clicking then search: keywords. you will find their hidden tags.

I never heard of this at all. since YouTube doesn't make any announcements or if they do then they should make it more visible to the public.

I have started this method 3 - 4 years ago in my old channels.

They don't need to "announce" it. It's very clearly banned in their TOS.

Of course you are free to take whatever risks you want with your own channel, but I don't think you should be advising people to do it because they risk getting a community strike (without warning)

if it was clearly banned then my channel would have been gone by now and i have no strikes on it either. If you can ring a circle and screen capture it then send it to me that would be great. After that i will be happy to remove the text from the post.

Like I said, you are free to take risks with your channel if you wish. The number of people on these forums who say they have never have had any problems doing this or that and so infer that it must be ok. And then 2 months later they start a thread about getting a strike......

Please select a reasonable number of tags that most closely reflect your video content. Please also only add tags to the tag section of your metadata. Adding additional tags to the description of your video may constitutes spam and may result in the removal of your video.

Thanks for the link i will remove it now and it is a shame they didn't make it more visible via the youtube site and only the google support.
