Thoughts, Opinions and Experiences of AwesomenessTV?

Hi all,

I'm one of the account managers at Awesomeness TV and after stumbling onto this forum, I thought this would be a good place to start finding out what issues the community is having with the network. Thanks for the discussion - it has brought to the forefront a lot of issues that we are still developing solutions to. I will check back on this discussion later if you all have any questions I can answer.

Lets see, maybe because you have 30,000 tiny channels building up your revenue and leaving them with nothing...

If you want to partner the tiny channels lower the threshold to 5-10$, if you want to keep it at 100$ , look for 500-750 views per day channels... Simple enough to understand.
Because from what you`re doing atm your management are either idiotic or your exploiting tons of tiny channels...

Thanks for the input. The $100 threshold is the point at which Youtube delivers earnings to us (They are the ones collecting revenue after all), so we have no control over that. A complaint that I have seen frequently on here is that we partner small channels - this is true. We advertise the network as a fan community for the Awesomeness channel and programs. A lot of our fans are young kids just starting their first Youtube channel who want to join to get tips and our advice videos on how to create good content. We don't see anything wrong with this because for us the network is more than just a revenue generator - it is a way to engage the community. For this reason we encourage smaller channels to join and try to grow their channel along with the network.

The Awesomeness network is about more than simple revenue generation. It is a way for Youtubers of all ages - especially young kids just starting out - to learn about what makes a good channel and video. Hope this clears up the reasoning for some of these perceived issues.

1) The network I`m in has a $1 payout threshold so...
2) I know alot of ATV partners and most havn`t even heard of/ couldn`t care less about the Main ATV channel.
3) As I said before , how can your partners get advice off a network that never responds?
