The Transparency Truth

This is partially true, but the main reason most MCNs only preform an update once every 1-3 weeks.
Is because depending on how many channels/videos are under their CMS, it can take up to 48 hours for the bulk update to preform (The CMS is deemed useless for that period so no-partnering or releasing)

for small networks such as ChannelFlip this may be alright as they only have a few thousand videos(would take mere minutes) but for an MCN such as Fullscreen with 2 Million videos it is a whole other matter at hand.

Hope this cleared things up :)

I do not understand your post at all. We are not referring to any updates besides enabling transparency. It is updated within seconds, it does not take 48 hours.

A network wide bulk update includes video claiming and other procedures not just enabling transparency.

Hope this helped

AustinAdvice - Whatever your idea of editing my post or you would edit yours was, I would personally take that as a threat to me. Please don't take it that I edited it for you, but more for the sake of everyone else because I know what your like for being the person who is right.

Second of all, you claim SquareOne isn't a sub-network of OmniaMedia. Then what is SqaureOne, because it seems to me you offer all standard partnership features for brands and channels. I know you recruited Flammy from here, and tried to recruit many other people here. Your the CEO, please elaborate for me?

No network can modify any such stats. Such tampering with stats would be illegal. Stop feeding people with wrong information.

Dananuh, it really is a shame that YTTalk does not have a block button.

The truth is, this post is directed at the very network you work for. I was happy not posting about it or including the physical evidence but you continue to badger my posts.

Please stop badgering me, it is honestly childish. Keep your posts to yourself or shoot me a PM.

As for recruiting, it is a shame that recruiting occurs on YTTalk. I have not recruited off the site, after all I am not the one you notes network names do I? You mention networks more than I do. Flammy reached out to many networks and did his research. Please respect that and PM me issues instead of opening these threads up to irrelevant topics.

Sorry John I think we are on different topics. I mean that transparency takes a few seconds of anyones time. It is as simple as enabling it. The process is not a bulk video claim which does take 15 minutes or so.

For the moderators I have attached the proof for you, it is not bashing if it is true.[DOUBLEPOST=1372547566,1372547475][/DOUBLEPOST]

I am referring to the use of a bulk CMS update by a MCN.

Correct, the bulk updates would be in relation to videos and how they are managed. Transparency does not need to be bulk handled. It can be from my knowledge, or it can take a few seconds.[DOUBLEPOST=1372548264,1372548100][/DOUBLEPOST]
I believe you are misunderstanding. I think he is saying that the networks can change your Network Dashboard.

With one network that I am familiar with, the Network Dashboard shows "Daily Estimated Earnings".
However, it is not the same as what I see in my YouTube Analytics. It appears as though the Network shows what is my cut of the YouTube earnings. In other words, let's say that I had a 50/50 split with a network.
YouTube would show $8 in Analytics but the dashboard would show $4 (on a particular day). It's fair enough because that is what the content creator would want to know anyway.

It doesn't seem to be accurate if you have a quota deal though because the dashboard only looks at the split and doesn't take the quota into effect.

Agreed, of course with any coding edits can be made. They could be right, but at the end of the day I think YouTube analytics are the best to refer to.

For one channel it would take seconds, but for an MCN bring aboard 10s of channels daily that doesn`t scale up.

Which is why MCNs decide to enable them in bulk every week or so :)

Hello,

I don't see why I am involved in this post. Speaking for our network personally, we run our batches, once every 7 days. We have a lot of partners joining up on a daily basis, to make things easier and smoother we simply enable the revenue visibility for all partners specifically every 7 days. Meaning if you joined up 10 minutes before we run our batch, you'll get it within 10 minutes. Its how we specifically run. We believe everyone is entitled to their transparency and are proud of what we have to offer, therefore we show enable revenue visibility to all.

Again, this is only specifically for the network I work with...and the response is only because I was randomly mentioned in your post.

Take care.

Thanks for explaining. Danuah thought involvement is how it should be handled.

I appreciate the knowledge ^

Austin, if you have a problem with me. Why don't you take it out on me. Not on Forela, not on Kam. You got other people involved of which you shouldn't off. You just contradicted yourself by saying me involving myself should be how it handled. Well, you have just gotten people who frankly, shouldn't of been brought up into this. If you have any problems with me, feel free to just click the ignore button, and you won't see my messages anymore. Or PM me.

Cheers.

just chill out Dananuh..... he's not promoting his own network or something.... Austin is just advising youtubers talking about transparency from networks..... for example, I was with TGN, and they just disable my earning reports after I partnered with them, then, they send me a s****y report every single month without able to see an earning report.... is TGN (BroadBandTV) playing with fire hiding reports from their youtubers? who knows? But, the mayority of TGN Partners (including myself) has complains about the network having the worst RPM in youtube.....

Transparency..... we should be able to see and demand what we're getting in our youtube analytics and no network should hide our earnings like BroadBandTV does with their partners.....
