If there are only 5 of the milions of videos removed then I think it would be innapropriet(sorry for spelling) and it's understandable.
If they woul have to remove all the 'copywritten' stuff (which I think schouldn't be done), millions of vids would be removed.
 
I agree with some things that contain copyrighted content being removed like if I was to upload a full song with the lyrics or a music video, the owners are within their rights to request it be taken down and I would comply with it, what I dont agree with is how the system currently is, there should be fair use policies IMO for people who use short clips of videos to get their videos point across or images that others own the rights to as long as it isnt the whole content of the video.
