Can't remember exactly how it works but they do something along the lines of this. BBTV pay TGN their cut first and then take their big slice leaving you with 100% of what ever is left. It's clever but I know a lot of people who were/are in it and one guy for example for 5 million views made less than 4,000$. that is terrible. yeah so like i said TGN get their cut and then BBTV get their cut. So effectively have the 2 of them taking a slice out of your 55% left over by Google. It's sneaky and good for TGN's PR.

You`re correct, TGN do take a cut :p
20% of net revenue from BroadbandTV (after they`ve already taken a decent slice)
It works out to 60/40 gross revenue.

The had a contract a few months back were BBTV took 40% gross and paid TGN`s wages out of that, so basically TGN in itself didn`t take anything...

It was a trick to get people to think TGN was paying partners 100% of all revenue.

yeah very clever marketing ploy and as i found out looking through these forums quite a few people were fooled.

yeah good idea. luckily for me my auntie is an attorney for a big company that deal with online contracts. that's what i did with the IGN one and the funny thing was if I didn't I would have gotten in before they decided to close the program indefinitely.
