Just play it safe and don't upload any content you don't have the rights to.

If you have the rights/permission from the creator/artist to monetize it, you can monetize it. If you don't have permission, you should NOT monetize it.

You can make videos about anything you own the rights to or have permission from the content owner to monitize.
