substitute for lighting?

um i need lights because my camera quality decrease by some much in the dark and who likes watching the dark? just imo but i prefer watching videos that have good lighting in it but my videos arnt the best and the lighting is horrible. i depend on the sun as the lighting but that is limited due to time and stuff.. sometimes i use a white light lamp which is ok but it isnt really portable; more as stationary so i am asking for your help, the community, on what is a good substitue for lighting?

yeah i'd go with that! or just go in to a room with light switch the bulbs to daylight bulbs and you'll have decent lighting that way
