Sony to Adobe Transition

Hi Everyone!
I am currently trying to make the transition from Sony to Adobe and finding the process quite annoying, I have been using Sony Vegas Pro for around 3 years and I have decided that I want to get more in-depth with editing so I know that Adobe is the way to go, but im finding that making the switch is annoying me and im starting to lose motivation to switch, so I was wondering if anyone had any advice to help make the switch, because I really want to get better and editing for montages, intros etc.

I've never used Sony Vegas. I switched from Windows Movie Maker (lame, I know) straight to Adobe Premiere (and have just added After Effects to my repertoire). All I can say is that there are really great tutorials on YouTube for both tools and that's how I learned how to do what I needed in Adobe Premiere.
