I've been trying to figure out how the hell I'm supposed to do this but basically I'm doing some sort of tutorial for a game and I need to be able to make certain parts of the UI focused and the rest of the frame dimmed a fair bit. I tried looking up masking stuff but that didn't really do it and track matte key doesn't allow me to dim anything outside the shape I create. I've already tried adding a viginette type effect (?) but that could only be done with a circle and I need it to be square. Does anyone know how to do what I'm trying to do? lol[DOUBLEPOST=1386759050,1386758241][/DOUBLEPOST]Okay, don't worry, I think I got it xD I just had to duplicate the video track itself and put a blur on it and it actually gives me more of a focused effect.
