Socialblade Estimated Earnings based on...

I thought it was they avg. somewhere around $2.50-$7 per 1000 views. Mainly because that's what usual CPMs are. I read that somewhere on the site at one point. But, it's just an estimate on their part. And obviously those numbers are before splitting with networks.
 
^^ slightly wrong numbers.

If you hover over the 'estimated earnings' on any channel page they will say "estimated earnings are based on $.75 to $7 CPM... bha blah"

so basically doesn't tell you anything. It is a 10x range after all.

However this range is large enough that it probably does include what you are earning...

It simply takes your total views multiplies against .75 and then 7 to get those numbers.

This does not take into account:
  • monetization % (huge factor)
  • rev share
  • Actualy CPM
  • if you have any unmonetized videos
