Well, my first instinct is that Smosh sounds like a portmanteau. My second instinct is that I have no idea what you should do

What you should ask yourself is why you want to join them. If they can offer what you want then join them. But I doubt it's a good network. As many other networks they want to earn money on you rather than supporting you. Imo they are just feeding of their fans.

I really wouldn't consider joining for this reason alone:

They have a $100 threshold, much like Fullscreen or AwesomnessTV. Which means you are never going to earn anything until you reach that amount. Now, also take in the fact that the contract is 1 year, a small channel like yourself is not going to benefit whatsoever, you probably wouldn't even make that amount in the year. So basically your giving them money.

I checked it out and it says that you will be transferred to Alloy, the network they are in. I don't really know much about that network though. :S

A portmanteau is suitcase however famous author Louis Carrol used it as a literary device in many of his works as the words "fit into each other like a suitcase"
It's a mix of both words
