Should I try to get partnered with a network?

So as you guys probably know, the new YouTube layout is coming which takes away most of partner features.
I was wondering if I should still try to get partnered though.

Yeah well I guess we all wanted banners and thumbnails custom html coding on the channel but they have taken that all away
