Screw Maker Studios/RPM Network

Last week, I went on a trip 200 miles south of me, to Austin, TX since I had some time to kill. While I was there, I ran into some unexpected expenses, and ended up spending nearly triple what I expected to pay. While I was there, I got an early termination e-mail from RPMNetwork. The e-mail stated I had, "a high volume of copyrighted content" on my channel. When I confronted them about it, and asked them to show me which videos they were referring to, they avoided the question whenever they responded, until they stopped responding all together. They have funds that should be paid out to me, but they are not responding on that matter either. That was a bummer.

Recently, I applied to be a part of Machinima, and I surprisingly got in. I don't think I met the minimum requirements, so I don't know how I got in exactly. The process went smoothly, and their support is so clean. I'm still waiting on my channel to be moved into their network. I got an opportunity to talk to some of my favorite YouTubers on their network one-on-one though, so it was a nice experience, and I got some free things out of it. Overall, I'm very happy to be out of my contract with RPM Network. They had terrible support, and their forums weren't very lively at all.

I am always afraid that one day my partnership will be terminated by them, Does it mean you can never be a partner again?

About Machinima...their requirements have decreased recently I believe. Which a lot of people see as them not caring anymore about quality, but quantity. Of course, it's still a great network....hopefully you'll like it and they won't be annoying as I know some network are. :P

Do Machinima require you to put any intros before your videos or anything like that? Been interested in them but I'm trying to find a network that doesn't force you to do things like putting videos up daily or putting intros in or hitting view targets. Which I'm pretty sure I'm asking for the impossible xD

I can never be partnered with Maker Studio or any of its sub-studios ever again. But idgaf lol

lol what? as a gamer literally ALL your content is third party to begin with, i will just leave it at that.

I know, but I mean, I was a gaming channel even before they contracted me LOL

I'm hoping their lowered requirements don't affect me/make me look bad lol

I know they require you to put their logo somewhere, I just don't know where lol

I follow a few people on their network, and I have never seen their logo anywhere on their channels, so...

Actually now that you mention it, I just realised 2 people I follow don't do it either. Nanners and 2bfp being those 2. That's weird. So basically, you network with them and they don't give a damn if you advertise for them or not? lol I've seen on the videos through Machinma they have the logo in the bottom right or left. Do they have any other requirements? It sounds like you can just join them anytime now lol

Just curious… how long is the lock in on your contract? Congrats on getting into Machinima btw! Best of luck on your career!

The term section says 3 years. Ouch. I probably should have looked it over a bit more before I submitted it. I assumed it was a year like every other network. But even so, it's not necessarily a bad network, is it?

nah machi ****** abunch of partners bad with never ending contracts now they are just trying to bring in any numbers that will trust

I just got eager. I'm a little nervous right now, honestly lol
