RPM TAKE 60%?!

unfortunately he read the contract wrong, they don't take 60% they only take 40%.. but they give half of that 40% (20%) to maker studios. he does actually end up with 60%.

ah I see. that can be quite confusing. I was confused about that when I was researching networks, myself. But glad it's cleared it up :]
 
You keep 60%. RPM and Maker take 40% to share. Not that bad in my opinion. Don't choose a network based on money anyways. If you do, then something is wrong. You should choose by who will provide you the best support and benefits. The money will come, but don't worry about it.

Im not bothered about the money, but it did seem strange only getting 40% i want the perks that come with it.. i have signed the contract now & waiting for them to reply back :)
 
I think the other people posting here are incorrect.

If you read the contract, they charge you a 20% sales commission as well as any costs incurred in the sale.

20% commission off the gross leaves you with 80%.

Then you get your 60% cut which leaves you with just 48% of the gross CPM you see.
