Ridiculous estimated earnings in Socialblade?

Hi guys,

I wonder if my monthly estimated earnings in Socialblade are realistic for content creators in USA.

The channel has been active for almost 2 years with videos uploaded each week, 370k subscribers, 3,600,000 monthly views and it makes on average $1000 monthly.

Socialblade says $1.9K - $15.1K monthly.

The channel is in Spanish for the Latin American crowd (Mexico and Argentina are top viewers), which makes me believe Adsense monetization is not as popular in those countries as opposed to USA and Europe, therefor the low earnings.

Your thoughts?

Most of internet "appraisal" or otherwise "estimator" services are totally useless, as they're based on guesstimates that especially if cannot be manually set simply can't give you any even remotely accurate information.

Posting this detailed information is again YouTube rules. They can terminate your channel for this so better remove it as soon as possible.
To answer your questions - Yes - it looks like very low earnings - you must be making at least several thousands dollars with such traffic. It could be the geography or it could be something with your content (sorry didn't have time to go through your videos).

But again - remove the picture as soon as possible!

It also depends what people watch it on, i assume you are youtube partnered but things like mobile sometimes don't give income and if people use adblock that can also stop income. Also things such as if people buy goods and if how you tag your videos. Without going into to much from i've made around a third of that income from 200k views, this is thanks to target market specific adverts and i've had several people buy things via the adverts which add the occasional $10 - $20 bonus income. Hope this information is helpful

*edit* Also i went on your channel and checked a few video's and i didn't have an advert run on any of them. So it may be that only a certian demographic get video's shown

Wow those earnings are really low for that amount of views. That's an RPM of 23 cents - almost 10 times lower than the international average. I think one of the major reasons will be the fact that it's a non-English channel.

(I'll move this thread to the monetization forum)

Thank you guys, the channel content is video games, WatchMojo style, and is not my profile channel here.

I've heard that video game related content is one of the lowest in Adsense revenue. Is it still too low for that content?

If you want to make good money in advertising, English gets you more advertisers paying to be in front of your content, simple as that. Yes, $1,000 is very low for 3.6 million views a month. Has nothing to do with it being video game content. I'm aware of video game channels that bring in 50% more in $ on only 15% of the views.

Well that absolutely sucks, considering the small percentage I get from that revenue since I'm dubbing the original content to Spanish. It's time to put to use my rusty English pronunciation.

Thanks for your response Tarmack!

Wow, that's a very nice channel. You have lots of monthly views and subscribers. Are you directly associated with Google Adsense?
