Quick question about meme thumbnail.

You'll be okay, I have never heard of a thumbnail with a meme getting someone in trouble before.

Technically and legally its copyrighted and you shouldn't use it.

In practice you are NEVER going to get in trouble for using a meme in a thumbnail or video. Don't worry about it.

LOL, I've uploaded the thumbnail, it was already monetized without the thumbnail then when I edit it and save the changes, the video got stuck under review, I wonder how long it will take, or does youtube limit the reviewing process? my first upload was ok and I it was monetized in just a sec. but this one, arrrgh. am I losing my revenues since it's under review?

It doesn't display ads when it's under review, so you are missing out on potential revenue. It doesn't sound like you'd be making much anyway since it's only your second video.

every cents count for such a small channel like me XD should have uploaded the thumbnail just right after it finished uploading , but it's ok, at least I've go a lesson from this.

BTW, here's my channel youtube.com/user/FilipinoPranks

That is a current but/change going around youtube. There are a bunch of threads about it and unrelated to that specific thumbnail. Any time you edit those settings it unmonetizes currently.

Only one copyright challenge for a meme has happened to date and it was by the creators against I believe Time Warner because they used it for a major title.

I've edited this thread,, I have new question guys. please read the first post thank you :D
