Questions abt Inc.

Before you sign that contract, apply to Creator X. They are a sub network of Fullscreen geared towards smaller channels. You still get paid thru Fullscreen with all the same benefits, but with a different support staff in place. The reason for applying there is that your contract would most likely be better-you can get a shorter contract and possibly a better split.
See I didn't know this. Well I mean... I hear different things... I don't know if this is good advice or not lmao

Ahh, so these companies do not necessarily give YT-ers more exposure?
I've seen a few beauty channels under the "PopSugar" network and I thought the network one goes with depends on what type of channel you have if that makes sense?
(e.g. popsugar= beauty, vlog union= vloggers etc.)

I'd thought I'd mention that since getting help from you all, I have applied with 2 more companies: PopSugar & Creator X.

So I'll wait until I get replies from these two other companies to make my choice. It does makes sense to see which gives me a better deal.

I also wanted to be clear:
It doesn't actually matter which company I ultimately go with? Its about the "tools" they offer and the % they take from you? The fact that Ill be under the "Vlog Union" network is irrelevant?

Again, sorry for sounding so ignorant on the subject- I just really want to soak in as much as I can from you all since you guys actually know what you're doing :]

In terms of tools, if the network is legitimate, they will offer the same tools as all other large networks. There is usually no advantage of one network over another in terms of tools. As for what section of the network you will be placed in, it may matter when you're just starting out, but as your channel grows, you won't really care at all. Being placed in a certain section of your network can give you some exposure/promotion, but these networks are here primarily to sell ads on your videos. They promote by featuring your video on their channel, or by giving you a plug on facebook or twitter. None of the networks have a strong enough following on youtube/facebook/twitter to make a huge difference once you are established, but when you're just starting out, it can give you an extra boost. If it's there for you, take advantage of it, but don't count on them to promote you.

I can't give you expert advice. And what I was trying to say, is that a network will not take you by the hand and get you exposure. They will give you the opportunity to seek sponsorships, or they will give you the chance to collab with other partners from their network, but these things you have to seek out and ask for and go after. So it's like, you have more to work with, you still have to work it. Ultimately it is better than not being partnered, people also seem to hold partnered channels in a higher esteem (some anyway) But as far as all the legalistics and money crap? I know diddley squat and a bag of chips.
