Question regarding comments section on YouTube...

Sorry if this is a silly question... but for example let's say I post a comment under someone's video and 3 different people reply to my comment but I only click to reply to one of those people's comments... do all 3 people in that "thread" get notified of my reply or only the person I click REPLY under?

It would be nice if ALL 3 people who are a part of that "discussion" get notified as in a thread for example...

I believe they all do. Honestly, YouTube has one of the most broken discussion platforms. I wouldn't be surprised if they got nothing at all.

I think they do because when I reply to a comment and a different person replies I also got the notification on what the other person replied with.
