Quality vs Quantity.

Quantity vs. quality? One simple answer: whats the point of quantity if the quality isn’t good enough to hold your viewers. A whole bunch of bad videos doesn’t make a good channel just because there are a lot of them. So, don’t worry about the algorithm and make stuff you are proud of.
