Pros and Cons of Adsense vs Network?

With Adsense, you have to do all of the work building yourself up, promote and advertise yourself, and you get to keep all of your money.

With a network, you still have to do everything yourself, but they take 10-40% of your earned income.

Good to know I was doing a little homework on the network thing today I guess I'll be riding solo networkless
