Problem monetizing my videos! Please help!

On Monday i became a FULLSCREEN partner. I got the Dashboard, the Live Events and Shows tabs and i claimed all my videos and set them to "Monetize in all countries".

There is one problem. There are no ads on my videos in my country (Romania). I checked this and asked lots of my friends and none of them see ads. But i know for sure ads display alongside my videos in other countries.

FACT. Before i became a FULLSCREEN partner i was already a Youtube partner but i didn't have all the features and ads also displayed only in countries that have agreements with Youtube (Romania doesn't). I used to collect money via Adsense and block clones of my videos with CMS. Now i still have the Adsense account but it's not collecting from Youtube anymore and all my videos disappeared from CSM (this should be normal).

I wrote to the Fulscreen support team and they emailed my back asking me to check if all my vids are claimed and set to entertainment instead of music. Yes, did that too on monday but still nu ads.

So why are there no ads displayed in my country? Is there any solution?

It could be that your country is still blocking them. Perhaps look for other Romanian channels with fullscreen and see if they had similar trouble? I'm sure if you get in touch with Fullscreen direct they could give you a few channels whom you could contact

Yes. There are many romanian channels that have partnered with Youtube via Fullscreen and have ads displayed.

Also, Tuesday a friend of mine partnered with Fullscreen and ads stared showing instantly. He wasn't already a YT partner so i am sure that my problem has something to do with the fact i was a partner before signing with Fullscreen. But i don't know what the problem is.

Nobody seems to know. I would really hate to be forced to make another channel in order to fully monetize.

Yes. There are many romanian channels that have partnered with Youtube via Fullscreen and have ads displayed.

I don't think it will come to that, but it may be better contacting Fullscreen directly rather than posting here, as it may take longer to get a response from them (it could be that your channel isn't set up yet because you had AdSense enabled beforehand. It can take a couple months due to them having to basically 'swap' payment methods over)

I can see in my Adsesnse account that i am no longer monetizing vids from YT. I hope you are not right, but you could be and it could take months. If it is so, it's ok, but i just have to know for sure what the problem is.

I can't think of anything else but hopefully it's just a case of playing the waiting game, which I guess is better than starting up a new channel congrats on the partnership btw!

Thank you very much! I am happy about it because i got the Live Events and Shows tabs which i previously didn't. I hope i figure out what's wrong with the monetizing soon.

If you want to see the info, email support@fullscreen.net and ask them to turn on your daily earnings report on youtube. As for ads not playing, not all ads are available at all times-and with youtube if you watch a certain number of ads on the same channel, the ads will stop playing, so the main reason you don't see them is because you keep looking for them. After you see a few, you won't see any more for your channel-and if none are available for that time period, you won't see any at all.

Sounds reasonable. BUT. I can see ads on other romanian channel no matter how many times i refresh and none of my friends see ads on my vids. Got another email from support. They just say that they see ads. But it's irrelevant. I make most of my views in my country so it's a lose-lose situation if only views outside Romania get monetized on my channel.

We had some issues seeing our ads playing when we first signed up-it seemed like we could only see pop ups and never a preroll ad, but it didn't seem to affect revenue. Give it some time. It might take a few days to serve the correct ads for your region.
