Pinning a comment and going about your day...

When it comes to engagement with viewers and subscribers in the comment section on YouTube, I saw a practice by mostly big YouTubers where the creator pinns a comment they like, or their own comment, and thus transfers and diverts a lot of attention in the comment section there, unless there is something extraordinary. When it comes to comments, that pinn is it for a lot of them lately. I can understand this being a good method if you have hundreds upon hundreds of comments... And of course - when you have a small channel you have much less comments and it's good that you tend to a lot of them... but I think this could be a good tactic even in the beginning when you're small. This way you can set a standard for the future and basically have a bigger impact on the comment section. Do you think that would be a bad idea?
