Partner with Machinima

Why would you ask a question, as if you needed some real direction on the matter and weren't sure how you felt, only to challenge people on their answers? Like... this makes me think your mind is made up and you're just looking for yes men.

no thats not it. i want to hear personal experience with them. actually i dont know if yes or no, many positive things, but i also heared negative things.

I don't think you should be looking to sign a contract of that length with anyone yet. Also, it is against the rules to post parts of your contract here.

I have been with Machinima since Nov 2012.
You see many people on forum saying Machinima is bad, however my experience is different.

At first I did not like it because of their response time, I never got the email reply back from them, but lately they will get back to you within 24 hrs, or you can tween to a guy name ricmachinima and he usually
will reply back to you quick. I just got my first payment from them and it is alright, I make well over $3 CPM.

I personally think its cool to be part of Machinima..but its just me.

thank you, the first helpfull answer ^^
ive also heard about a guy in skype who answered nealry every questions and call back, if you want something

Just make sure you consider everything before signing up, don't forget its 3 years in which you can not leave.

My opinions of them is :
They`re good for being able to say "I`m in Machinima" because for the most part they`re well known for good reasons
They have quite good support (they didn`t used to but if you contact them right, they do now)
Possible Directorship on one of their channels for exposure

You seem to be saying, go with a network because of how much monthly views they get. No.... just no...
BigFrame and the Collective are easily the best networks/talent agencies (only for huge channel with high production value)
But because they`re so strict on entries they don`t have many channels with them.

Also Machinima has lost ~2B monthly views recently.

It`s up to you, they`re better at support and exposure than payments and extra features in my opinion.

My friend is partnered with Machinima and he is having difficulties with them at the moment. A lot of partners want to leave and many were given pay cuts. It's apparently why a lot of big YouTubers in the gaming community left to join other networks such as IGN. There is also people saying new machinima people are given really awful contracts and lock you in for a long time. As I can see by yours, 3 years is long my friend. Ask yourself if you want to be committed to the network before joining.

Good post, Being signed down for a network for 3 years is definitely not a good thing if you aren't sure, even in 1 year lock ins it can be tedious if your half way through & want to quit, imagine being 6 months into a 3 year deal and wanting to quit.

I've heard a lot of bad things recently happening with Machinima...
Yea me too, i heard they aren't a great network to be in right now. Lots of people are ending their contracts and not renewing them, going to other networks for better pay
