Outtakes, clippings and bits you dont like

Just wondering what you all do with the parts of video that ain't up to scratch. I know myself that when I video things don't go to script and you have to edit them out. So was kinda wondering do you guys make like outtakes or just delete the bits you don't want.
 
Personally I dont keep anything, I just delete them but if I was doing something on camcorder I would more than likely keep them and possibly use them for something like an out takes video or bloopers.
 
Yeah i was kinda pondering the idea earlier today and thought hmmm should i make a outtakes video. So i have lol, might aswell put them to some use. Just wanted to know really if other people use there 'outtakes' or just delete
 
I think if you can use them then keep them, that's a good way of looking at it. With my videos I couldn't ever use them but in your case it seems you can. You could do a bloopers one too where you mess up now and then assuming you do sometimes :)
 
Well i found after filming that i kinda messed up, so all i did was pause for abit then started again. Putting in the pause allowed me to cut those bits out without ruining the rest of the filming. Saved having to stop and start again. Although i found sometimes once i started messing up i just kept messing up the same lines lol
 
I do that myself when just recording my voice, I get all the way through perfectly but towards the end I mess up and it usually ends up with me swearing here and there.
