Only earned 5$ in a half year! Any tips?

Hey folks.

I just rounded 400 subs, and found out that i only earned 5$ in 6 months.
Its a very small amount and i'll ask if you Got som tips for better earnings.

Welcome to the forums! I'm starting an animation channel this September!

It looks like you have a different language, and I know some countries have lower CPM then English channels.
 
I'm guessing it's because having 8k views.

I'm sure you had views before you were partnered
and not all views are monetized.
 
I don't think there are any tips for earning money on adds, they click on them, you get the money. There's no way in trying to get that to happen, I mean you can't exactly ask for them to click it. That's why bigger channels earn more because they have more people in the ratio of people who click on the ads. So, if there's any tips...grow a bigger channel :)
 
if you want an increase then the way to get one is by increasing your views. then it should all pick up from there :)

The only way to get better earnings is to invest or grow your channel. Simple said you'll need find a way to increase those views!
 
Well you only have 8k views. That's why you haven't made much. Which, I find it kind of weird considering you have over 400 subs.... You should have way more views. I had 8k views when I had less than 30 subscribers...
 
It's pretty simple, make more quality videos to get more views => more cash
PS: don't run those trueview ads s**t, it will kill your views, you may make a bit more money at the beginning buy in long term, doesn't worth it. Stick with the classic banner in the video
