I was just contacted on YouTube by NovaNetworkTV, and I guess I'll just copy and paste the contents of the message here:

If you check out the website, it seems really odd, especially just the main page. What's really got me suspicious is that I don't really feel like my channel is big enough at the moment to warrant seeking out a partnership, and certainly not for partnerships to be seeking out me. This whole thing looks like a scam if you ask me.

Also, I just now noticed the grammatical errors.

EDIT: Had to put spaces in the URL to be able to post it. I hope that's not a problem, this isn't advertising, and I just want to help out anyone who may otherwise fall for this more than likely scam...

I'm with Fullscreen , so i wouldn't exactly know :) But i advise you to STAY away form network names no one had mentioned or talked about or you've not heard about. These small networks can screw you over BIG time (AwesomnessTV , (NEW) RPM, etc.) if you don't know the network & give you a HORRIBLE contract! I suggest you stay with the bigger-well known networks , not these small networks you've never heard of :) Good luck !:)

Always do your research on these kinds of networks , or they'll be like "you signed the contract so we cannot release you" etc. Then you'll be like "F!ck i've signed the contract!" Be careful !:) Best of luck to you !:)

RPM is a part of Makers. I havent had any problems with them and I don't see why they screw you over.

Some have good experiences with small networks and some have bad experiences with big networks. There is nothing that sais that named networks screw you over by default.

i know that :) But what i'm saying if you go with an now-well know network , you'll probably be an unhappy youtuber :( So it really varies form person to person :) Some people have a great contract term with RPM etc. & some wish they'd never of partnered with them :) Thanks !

Don't join it. At the moment looking at your channels, you're in no condition of a partnership. Just think about a further 30% cut on top of what you are already earning?(Assuming your CPM just increases slightly).
Just stick with your channel and ignore such partnership, consider them once you grow bigger. You do seem to be growing at a high pace but still.

I wasn't ever considering it, as I do realize I'm not big enough for it to be worth it. However that is the oddest part of the message; since I'm still small I wouldn't imagine networks would go out of their way to contact me (although it could have easily been a template message, there wasn't anything specific to me in it). That's what lead me to believe this was a scam.

The catch over here is that you are growing rapidly. From your socialblade stats you are getting about 700-900 views a day which is WOW! You're small but growing real dam fast. It's why they sent you the offer. But if you don't have a good CPM, then only give some concern to it or else don't join it. I know that there are many other factors people join network for, but I never gave a dam to their features. Now a days a network with high CPM and less contract term are the main reasons why people join it, if you already have a great CPM, my recommendation is dont join.

I had never looked at Social Blade, and now that I have I'm pretty sure it's saying I'm getting 700-900 views a week. 700-900 a day seems a bit too big.

Now, before we stray further off topic, since this isn't supposed to be about my channel, do you think this NovaNetworkTV thingy is legit in the first place?

NovaNetwork is one of my sub-networks so I can tell you they are indeed legit.

As for the grammer, I`ll have to talk to them about it :| Can`t have people representing my network like that :p
