No Monetizating at start

So I wanna know if this is true but a tip I watched from someone was to not monetize videos straight away as if your small ads can put people off but instead wait until your get like 1,000 subscribers or 1,000 views per video and then put them on. Do you think there is logic to this does anyone else do this?

I think this is bad because once you finally DO put ads, you will start getting accused of being a sellout. What I do is put an ad on every other video. So I'll do one week ad, next week no ad, repeat.

Hmmm good point I might start doing that.

I only use banner adds on my videos, doesn't get in the way and when I get bigger I will add more adds as I go.
