New network claiming videos help

What the hell does "their content" mean? you totally lost me on that part...
Just because a network specializes(sp?) in gaming doesn't mean you can post other peoples copyrighted works without their permission. If that's what you mean...

In other words if you partner with a gaming network you're not aloud to post gaming videos nor make money off gaming videos when thats one of the main purposes?

You can not upload something that is copyrighted by someone else without their permission, that includes video game footage. There are exceptions to this like "Fair use", I'm not a lawyer so I won't get into that but you can look it up if you want.

Some publishers and developers are really good(Riot Games, Mojang) about monetization, but some aren't(Nintendo, Capcom)

If you decide to do a video just send them an email before hand asking if you can upload and monetize it, that's all there is to it. I've never done it so I don't know exactly what you would want to say, maybe someone else with a little more experience can help with that.

I have an article bookmarked about a guy who is contacting as many publishers as possible and asking if he can monetize videos of their games. He than post the results, it's an interesting read but I don't think the forum allows linking to thing like that .

Anyway... have any other questions?

I don't believe so.

Networks take a cut for the services they provide, each network is different and each provides different services.

Networks used to provide banners and custom thumbnails, but now youtube pretty much gives those to anyone who wants them. Now that youtube is providing more some people think networks are becoming less and less valuable.

Some networks still have good services like royalty free music. Plus a network usually has an ad sales team which can hopefully get some better ads than just partnering with youtube(aka adsense). They also help with click bombing I believe.
